PEAK6 Online Assessment
PEAK6 follows every trading application with an online aptitude test.
Candidates describe about 30 multiple-choice questions in 30 minutes, roughly a minute each, in three blocks: visual matrix puzzles, number and letter series, then probability and expected value (an older version was reported as about 15 probability and 15 IQ-style questions, and some candidates also saw personality items). PEAK6 does not publish a pass mark.
The fast read-aloud mental math that candidates remember happens live in the first interview, and software roles get about two HackerRank problems in around 90 minutes instead. Everything here is candidate-reported.

Trader — Aptitude test
Three blocks of about ten questions each: 3x3 matrix puzzles where you pick the missing cell, number and letter series, and probability and expected value with a couple of finance-flavoured items. About a minute per question, so skip and return rather than grind. The timed replica below plays the full 30-question, 30-minute sitting with a fresh mix every run.
Trader — Read-aloud mental math (first interview)
Candidates report that the first interview with a trader includes fast mental arithmetic read aloud, answered out loud or typed, at a few seconds per question. The simulation below reads each question aloud with one replay and hides the text, so you practise hearing the numbers once.
Software — HackerRank coding
Software candidates report about two HackerRank problems in roughly 90 minutes, often interval or scheduling style, sometimes with a heap or dynamic programming problem. The bank below has auto-graded problems of the same shapes.
