The Wincent interview funnel

1. Recruiter Screen

Call - background + fit

An intro conversation about background, motivation for crypto market making, and logistics before the quant test is sent out.

2. Online Assessment — Quant Test

Testlify - 12 questions / 1h40 (40 min low + 60 min medium)

A webcam-proctored, fullscreen Testlify quant test: 12 numeric-entry problems on probability and common logic in two sections: 6 low-difficulty questions in 40 minutes, then 6 medium questions in 60 minutes. Pen, paper, and a simple non-programmable calculator only; skip is allowed but there is no revisiting. Our timed replica with verified answers is on the OA page.

3. Quant Interviews

Video rounds - microstructure + probability

Technical interviews built around the market maker's bread and butter: setting zero-profit bid-ask quotes, pricing adverse selection, skewing for inventory, and sizing repeated bets Kelly-style, alongside probability brain-teasers.

4. Coding / Quant Developer Round

Live coding - order-book flavored

For the Quant Developer track: build and reason about order-book machinery (matching engines, price impact, execution) with clean data structures and explicit edge cases (cancels, partial fills).
